David Morell the creator of Rambo recently commented that Rambo stood in the rain to cleanse his soul. Though we like the action scenes in the movie, not many people have analyzed the Rambo motivations until now. Do check out an interesting new book called "RAMBO CODE: Your Survival Guide" at www.rambocode.com which talks about the inner drive and inspirational qualities of that character, which Stallone once said represented the dark side of our subconscious.
In my knowledge this is the first book in the world that studies the words and psychology of Rambo, and adapts his survival principles and life lessons into our everyday life, to make us unstoppable.
The reason why Rambo made such a huge impact on movie audiences worldwide is because he represents the indomitable spirit of man - the survival instinct we are all born with to survive against the odds and to get ahead in life.
And Rambo being in touch with the uncivilised part of his being is able to unleash the animal fury within, which is an unstoppable force of nature.
The reason why Rambo is such a prominent character in the entertainment world is because there is a profound truth and underlying philosophy about the character that tugs at our heart string, otherwise it would not have survived the test of time.
As Stallone comes full circle with the last outing of two of his famous characters Rocky and Rambo, he leaves behind a legacy to the world, not of violence, but to urge audiences to stand up and fight back for their dreams, rather than watch it wash down the drain.
Indeed Stallonism is an idea whose time has come. Check out www.stallonism.com about a new book on Stallone called: IN THE EYE OF THE TIGER: Survival Principles from Sylvester Stallone's Life & Films launched by Jackie Stallone in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last year. Go for it! www.stallonism.com . Don't let it pass you by.
