RAMBO MOTIVATIONS
David Morell the creator of Rambo recently commented that Rambo stood in the rain to cleanse his soul. Though we like the action scenes in the movie, not many people have analyzed the Rambo motivations until now. Do check out an interesting new book called "RAMBO CODE: Your Survival Guide" at www.rambocode.com which talks about the inner drive and inspirational qualities of that character, which Stallone once said represented the dark side of our subconscious.
In my knowledge this is the first book in the world that studies the words and psychology of Rambo, and adapts his survival principles and life lessons into our everyday life, to make us unstoppable.
The reason why Rambo made such a huge impact on movie audiences worldwide is because he represents the indomitable spirit of man - the survival instinct we are all born with to survive against the odds and to get ahead in life.
And Rambo being in touch with the uncivilised part of his being is able to unleash the animal fury within, which is an unstoppable force of nature.
The reason why Rambo is such a prominent character in the entertainment world is because there is a profound truth and underlying philosophy about the character that tugs at our heart string, otherwise it would not have survived the test of time.
As Stallone comes full circle with the last outing of two of his famous characters Rocky and Rambo, he leaves behind a legacy to the world, not of violence, but to urge audiences to stand up and fight back for their dreams, rather than watch it wash down the drain.
Indeed Stallonism is an idea whose time has come. Check out www.stallonism.com about a new book on Stallone called: IN THE EYE OF THE TIGER: Survival Principles from Sylvester Stallone's Life & Films launched by Jackie Stallone in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last year. Go for it! www.stallonism.com . Don't let it pass you by.

BETWEEN TWO RAMBO FANS
JASON: ... I have just been on you tube watching the Premiere of Rambo in London. Have u seen the movie yet Gerald?
GERALD: Yeah I saw the movie about three weeks ago in KL, Malaysia and I wrote a Rambo story in the papers. I think the movie is quite violent, and it shows Stallone breaking new grounds again with this film. Stallone does not make a movie for a movie sake.... it has to be true to character, and the elements. It is not just what the story communicates, but what HE COMMUNICATES. Stallone, being a perfectionist will not let an opportunity go by without making an impact. He has proven himself in the past, breaking the boundary with Rocky Balboa, proving that even when age catch up with you, life is not over till its over and as for Rambo IV, I think it will be remembered for a long time for the stark realism - the sheer brutality and gore... again Stallone leaves no stones unturned to make his point. And that is what audiences will remember most about him. Both Stallone and his film characters are always going Over The Top. Like he once said: "I don't want to have any regrets when going to the grave, I want to lay back and say: "I did it all!"
JASON: Very well said Gerald, couldn't agree more. When he was at the Premiere in London there were a group of protesters applauding Sly for bringing awareness to the atrocities of Burma, so even from a Political stand point, he seems to have his mark perfectly centered. As a matter of fact, one of the banners read 'Rambo owns Bourne' (Jason Bourne - Bourne Identity)... ha ha ha love it!!
The final scene of Rambo reminded me a lot in the way he managed to wrap the whole series up as he did with Rocky. Walking down the road in his Green jacket heading to his Fathers ranch was so perfect as it brought us straight back to the opening scenes of the original First Blood... like everything had come full circle.
Anyone who can criticize this man for his efforts both professionally and as an artist is clearly unaware of just who the real Sylvester Stallone is. The sad part of it is of course, is that 'a picture can speak a thousand words' and anyone who sees the image of Rambo will have no idea of the sheer importance such a story like this has. He is so strongly embedded into the subconscious mind that sadly people have a tendency to judge something they know very little about.

RAMBO-CODE REVEALED
TWENTY YEARS have gone by, and Rambo is back, and he seems to have gone deeper into his own world. He has accepted his fate in life and decides to find peace with nature, but the heart of a full blooded combat soldier still throbs within.
An icon from the 80s, Rambo is still relevant, not merely as the ultimate fighting machine, but as a metaphor to life. He represents the indomitable spirit in man who is more resourceful, capable, and resilient than we could ever imagine.
Although we live in a modern world, there is still a primal nature that rages deep within. And often times we rely on our instinct to carry us through, when faced with daily problems, setbacks and life challenges. We recognise there is a bigger, more powerful and dynamic being deep inside, waiting to be unleashed.
I saw First Blood as a teenager, which introduced me to Stallone and Rambo, and I knew I have stumbled upon something great as I tried to unravel the character's motivation. Rambo is larger than life - He is powerful, resilient, resourceful, and unstoppable.
Does such a man exist? I think its possibe. To me Rambo represent the indomitable spirit of man - the survival guide every person is born with to get ahead. In a world where there are no rules, we must rely on our senses and willpower to adapt, survive, and thrive.
Our greatest weapon is ourselves. We have a great resource of strength, ability, and untapped potential within us; and new skills can be learnt, practiced, and mastered. When this self-mastery process becomes second nature, we will be unstoppable, as Rambo puts it: "Don't push it, or I will give you a war you won't believe!"
Now a new book called "RAMBO CODE: Your Survival Guide" which expounds on the Survival Principles from the Rambo movies is now available for download, from this website.
It is called Rambo Code because there are so many survival principles from the RAMBO series which are inter-woven, to shape the fabric of the character.
The book reveals all the powerful philosophy of Rambo and his unique attributes that we can learn from.
The lessons are extracted from the book In The Eye of the Tiger: Survival Principles from Sylvester Stallone's Life &Films, where I have compiled all the information about the Rambo series into a single volume. This book also has a new introduction, and film sypnopsis of all the Rambo films from I-IV.
NOW ALL THESE POWERFUL SECRETS CAN BE YOURS TODAY.
Here is a list of content from the book:

STALLONE THE MISUNDERSTOOD HERO
Sylvester Stallone has always been a misunderstood hero. People often associate him with violence and identify him with his physical attributes and monosyllabic speech, but there is greater depth to his character.
There are many PROFOUND TRUTHS and UNDERLYING LESSONS from his life and films which inspire audiences which have not been discussed before.
"I want to give the audience positive symbols, heroines and heroes who
pull themselves out of the depths of despair." –SYLVESTER STALLONE
William Shakespeare once said: "If you are true to yourself you cannot be false to any man," so Stallone's life philsophy has remain intact over the years. If you draw a line from past to present, you will find all his words and ideas remain constant and falls into right place.
Stallone represents the CHAMPION OF THE UNDERDOGS, which was the theme of his blockbuster movies from the 80s, such the Rocky, and Rambo series, Over The Top, Lock-Up and Cobra amongst others.
He represents a man who never gives up, who never say die, and fights to the end. There are MANY POSITIVE MESSAGES and examples in his films like: "The World Meets Nobody Halfway, Everybody Can Change, To Win A War You Have to Become War, and Crime is a Disease..." which still holds true in our day-to-day life experiences.
Stallone always PUSH THE BOUNDARIES of his film characters to challenge himself, and to create a powerful impact on the audience.
"On film I represent the man who has beliefs, is straight and
who fights to the end." –SYLVESTER STALLONE
For example in ROCKY, he portrayed an underdog boxer who went the distance with the World Heavyweight Champion.
In RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PT II, he was abandoned in enemy territory, but fought his way back and blew up an enemy camp, to rescue a bunch of POWs.
In COPLAND, he played an overweight cop, who was half-deaf and disrespected by his peers, but rose to the occassion to uphold the law and regained his dignity.
In ROCKY BALBOA, he went back to the ring at the age of 60 to prove that age is no barrier as the tagline says It Ain't Over Till It's Over.
In the latest RAMBO movie, which is one of the most brutal war films ever made, Stallone used violence to highlight the atrocities of war.
"Sir do we get to win this time? This time it is up to you."
– RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II.
There are many poignant lessons from Stallone's life and films, which speaks to the truth of our hearts, and you can find all of them in the book IN THE EYE OF THE TIGER: Survival Principles from Sylvester Stallone's Life & Films at www.stallonism.com.

LESSONS FROM THE MOVIES
LESSONS FROM THE MOVIES
One of my favourite lessons from Stallone's Life & Films is his never-say-die attitude, and his willingness to TRY, AND TRY AGAIN until you succeeds. For example in the Rocky movies we see him facing tough opponents, who are usually stronger and bigger than himself. But everytime he is knocked down, he gets up again and again, to fight back, which was truly inspiring sight.
"Comeback stories are the stories of my life." –SYLVESTER STALLONE
Another important lesson is to know WHAT YOU REALLY WANT and to go for it. One of my favourite quotes in Over The Top, is Lincoln Hawk's advice to his son. "Mike, I want you to remember something the World Meets Nobody Halfway... if you want it, you've got to take it".
It is so simple and straightforward, yet many of us live in slf-denial. We want something, but we end up choosing something else. In the end we live a life of compromise because we feel unworthy of our dreams.
But Stallone's characters are usually the opposite. They are often focused, single-minded, determined, and they fight to the end until they succeed.
"To survive a war, you have to become war." – RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PART II
To live a powerful and coherent life, I think sometimes we have to ALLOW OURSELVES TO WANT WHAT WE WANT. This will eliminate self-doubts and and inner conflicts. True fulfillment comes where you can have your cake and eat it too.
All of Stallone's characters have something in common, which is THE EYE OF THE TIGER - the hunger and will to succeed.
From the moment we wake up, to the moment we take shower, go shopping, or driving, or sleep, there is always an inner voice that reminds us what we really want.
Stallone once said Rocky has a feeling, and awareness and a belief, and these are important keywords which leads to the path of self-realisation and fulfillment.
"Winners are the ones who really listen to the truths of their hearts"
- SYLVESTER STALLONE
Today is a brand new day that brings with it a new set of challenges, and opportunities. What will you do to seize the day and make your life great?
Last but now least, everything in the Universe is here for a reason. And every living thing whether it is micro-organism, animals or plants are always fighting for a space for their continued survival and existence on Planet Earth.
So too are your dreams, your passion, your emotions your skills and talents. They too want to live and come into existence, and have their day under the sun, but will you allow them to exist today.
Dare to exist, and make your wildest dreams come true today. The truth will set you free.
"I want to cross that finish line done, played, completely out of gas,
I want to do that in my work and reach the level of consciousness and subconsciousness and know I have gone to the brink." –SYLVESTER STALLONE

RECEIVED RAMBO RED CARPET TAPE IN MAIL
This morning,I was at home until about 1pm. Someone knocked on my house gate. I took a peek from the window upstairs and it was the courier delivery man who came in a white van. I rushed down to open the door, and quickly asked where is the mail from, and he answered the United States. "That's right." I had called US last week, asking them about the possibility for me to go for the Rambo premiere Red Carpet Event at Las Vegas on Jan 25. The lady from Lionsgate, said she could rush me the footages if I give her my e-mail. So I did. She said she will "overnight" the tapes to me. Without much ado... there was no replies after that, and the tape simply arrived at my doorstep this afternoon. Cool or cool? Now I need to find a player to play the beta tape... yeah right. Maybe I should watch You Tube first to see if any footages has been posted there first.
